Eco-friendly garden design
We design, build and maintain beautiful
gardens for people and nature
Projects
We help people create their dream, eco-friendly garden. For some clients, this means a full overhaul of their landscaping and planting. Others want to redesign a smaller section of their garden, and some are seeking a consultation to point them in the right direction.
Whether you’re looking for sustainable planting design, a wildlife pond, wildflower lawn or reclaimed stone patios and paths, we can make your ideas a reality.
What we do
Every project starts with a conversation to establish what you want from your garden. This will cover your needs, lifestyle and budget, plus ways to make your garden greener. After this initial consultation, we can work together in two ways:
Garden design
I visit your garden to take measurements and talk in detail about your tastes and needs. Then I create a simplified design, to make sure your new garden does everything you want it to do. Once you're happy with the simple plan, I produce a detailed design with all the information needed to create your new garden, including landscaping and plants.
Next, I put you in touch with trusted landscapers. Once the build is completed, I will plant up your gorgeous new garden. Our maintenance aftercare package helps you get the best from your garden as it matures, and allows us to keep an eye on how it’s developing. We can also provide instructions if you want to maintain it yourself.
Garden consultancy
I visit your garden to understand its layout, soil, shade, weather, water, and everything in between. We talk in more detail about what you want, and I give you written guidance on landscaping and planting to create your dream garden.
We can provide ongoing consultancy if required, and also offer garden maintenance to make sure your dream garden continues to develop into a beautiful, sustainable space.
About me
Eco-friendly garden design lets us do something good for people and nature. You don’t have to choose between what you want and what the bees (or birds, or frogs) want - you can have both.
I love the challenge of taking a wish-list and turning it into a beautiful, sustainable garden. Every project is unique, and each offers a chance to add to the patchwork of green that brings so much joy to humans while supporting wildlife, capturing rainwater, feeding pollinators, growing organically - the list is never-ending.
After 12 years working for an environmental charity, I wanted a more hands-on approach to protecting the environment. Eco-friendly garden design lets me do just that. I trained at Capel Manor College in London, and became a sustainable garden designer in 2018. Since then I’ve designed, built and maintained gardens for people who want to get the most from their outside space, for themselves and for nature.
From wildlife ponds to wildflower lawns, reclaimed stone paths to planting for pollinators, all gardens have huge potential to improve our lives and protect the planet. Whether you want advice on one element of your garden, or a full eco-friendly garden design, get in touch to see how we can help.

Reviews
Rose designed a magical garden for us - taking into account our budget, everyone’s different needs, and changing opinions! She’s cheerful and proactive, with such a brilliant knowledge of plants, shrubs and trees. She’s created interesting and inviting areas all over the garden. She comes with a great network - some brill landscapers rearranged our paved area. We are all out in it so much more, and it’s giving us a lot of joy - definitely a good investment!

Rose has been brilliant to work with on our garden. She completely got our brief and her design for both the hard landscaping and the planting are exactly what we wanted, even when we didn't know what we wanted. Rose's interest in maximising biodiversity, using native plants and reusing existing plants and materials exactly aligned with our sustainability aims for the garden. She's also been an ongoing source of plant wisdom as we get to know our garden and learn how to look after it. Highly recommended!

We didn’t really know what to do with our garden, only that it wasn’t working for us. Rose helped us decide how we wanted to use it, and made a virtue of the big level change and shady areas that we had previously seen as problems. Now it’s a beautiful space that we use all the time, and we love the little touches that bring nature into the garden.
